Privacy Policy
unedited by carolena (“we,” “us”) provides custom QR code photo upload pages for private events. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- From event hosts (our customers): name, email, phone, event details, and any images or text you send us for your page.
- From guests who use an upload page: the photos and videos you upload, the name you enter (optional), any message you leave, the file type and size, and the time of upload.
We do not ask guests to create an account, and we do not collect passwords, payment details or location data.
How we use it
- To build and run your event’s upload page.
- To store and deliver guest photos, videos and messages to the event host.
- To show a guest photo leaderboard on events where that feature is turned on. Names entered by guests are visible to other guests on that page. Guests who prefer not to appear can leave the name field blank.
- To communicate with hosts about their booking.
We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not use it for advertising.
Where it is stored
Photos and videos are stored with Cloudflare R2. Guest names, messages and upload records are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. Upload pages are hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare processes this data under its own privacy policy.
Uploads are not public. Files are never published to the open internet and are not listed anywhere. They can only be served through the event’s own page, which checks that the file belongs to that event before returning it. Each event has two separate unlisted links: one for guests, one private one for the host. Anyone holding a link can see that event; nobody can reach another event’s photos.
How long we keep it
An event gallery stays live for 3 months after the event date unless the host has purchased an extension. After the gallery closes, the host receives their folder and we delete the event’s photos, videos and messages from our storage within 30 days.
Hosts can request earlier deletion at any time. Deletion removes the event’s files and its database records permanently and cannot be undone.
Your choices
Guests or hosts can ask us to remove a specific photo, video or message, or to delete their information, by emailing the address below. Tell us the event name and, if you can, roughly when the item was uploaded, so we can find it.
Children
Our service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Event photos may include minors at the host’s discretion; hosts are responsible for obtaining any consent needed for their event.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the latest version.
